BOOK HOLDER

From the plumtree of my grandparents were still some tree branches left after making the Bottle Wall Basket.

At a time I started to read more and it became handy to have a book holder. The insight came; make a book holder from the wood that’s left.

Only this time it became a challenge. There was not enough wood to make a flat plate.
The solution became; keep the pieces as big as possible. This gave it’s characteristic, in every part you can see the original shape back of the tree branches.
